Sawmill

We have updated our onsite facilities and now operate an E. Gillet band mill, a Stenner re-saw, a multi-rip saw, and a Schumacher double slabber. This has enabled us to increase production, widen our product catalogue and offer more competitive pricing. We produce posts, boards, bearers and loading timbers suitable for bearing heavy loads such as steel girders and concrete panels or lining drainage ditches as well as smaller bespoke items. All are available to order. Our sawn timber is untreated. Don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Our dunnage can be supplied as FSC or none FSC and we are usually able to offer a choice of species to enable you to get the most from our products.

By-products of our sawmill include wood chip and sawdust. Both of which you can buy, and is suitable for both commercial and domestic use. 

On site we have G40 wood chip which is suitable for a variety of uses including biomass, horticulture and farming. This is produced on site from slabs from our sawmill or chip wood.

Our good, clean sawdust makes great animal bedding, briquettes, is suitable for horticultural and agricultural purposes and has many other applications.

A new addition to our range is sheep hurdles. Available in 3 sizes: 4', 5' and 6'. Made from larch, pine and spruce felled by ourselves within a 50 mile radius of our yard.
